You must REQUEST TO BOOK! *IMPORTANT: A PHONE CONSULT MUST BE BOOKED PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN TAKING LESSONS FOR 2 WEEKS TO 1 MONTH MINIMUM. (even if you've been referred) IF NO PHONE CONSULT IS BOOKED NO LESS THAN 48HRS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT IT WILL BE CANCELLED WITH NO REFUND UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN TAKING LESSONS FOR 2 WEEKS TO 1 MONTH AND WE HAVE DISCUSSED AN IN HOME VISIT. Please Read: Drum set up and configuration is often overlooked but it's actually *THE MOST IMPORTANT step before you begin learning to drum. STEP #1 You need to be comfortable with all the drums & cymbals in the right place with the right tension, tuning & settings in order to even begin learning proper technique. (This includes your pedals, electronic drums or any other percussion.) TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THIS IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE!! Think of this like putting gas in your car and adjusting the seats and mirrors to fit your body type comfortably before you drive it for the 1st time..if you are a new driver and don't do this you are not going anywhere until you do!! This is also offered in packaged deals (3 options) for booking with combination of an in home/studio lesson..Hey you might as well right?! I'm already there and its also highly recommended that you have a least 1 in person lesson within 2 weeks to 1 month of study (2-4 lessons), so I can show you some of the finer details of drumming on your specific set up! (LIMIT 1 PER PERSON PER SET UP PER 1 MONTH SPAN-UNLESS YOU HAVE MULTIPLE DRUM SETUPS OR GET A NEW SET UP/ HAVE ISSUES WITH YOUR KIT) A typical set up takes anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on the size of your drum set, how much adjustment and tuning it needs etc.. *This is one of the main reasons a phone consult is required before booking to make sure we allow the appropriate time it will take for YOUR PERSONAL SET UP. It may require multiple sessions if your kit requires an extensive build, new heads, low volume change over/overhaul, or replacement parts for example. MILEAGE CHARGES: LOCATION: Simi Valley on SUNDAYS IS FREE! EVERYWHERE ELSE IS $0.75 CENTS A MILE ROUND TRIP TO BE COLLECTED IN PERSON AT THE BEGINNING OF YOUR APPOINTMENT OR PAID ONLINE BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
